ARTS (Auto-Range Transponding System)
Exclusive to Yaesu Vertex/Standard radios, the feature allows users to be informed when you and another ARTS equipped station are within communication range, allowing more effective worker coordination. If out of range for longer than two minutes, the radio senses no signal has been received and beeps at the user. This then allows the base station to alert the field unit to move back into range.

Waterproof construction
The IC-F51 series has waterproof construction which is equivalent to IPX7. The IC-F51 series can withstand submersion in 1m depth of water for up to 30 minutes.

Tough and compact body
The aluminium die-cast chassis combined with a polycarbonate casing is designed to last. Its compact dimensions of 56 (W) x 97 (H) x 36 (D) mm allow the IC-F51 series to fit comfortably in your palm or shirt pocket.

Standard Lithium-Ion battery pack
The IC-F51 series comes with a standard 1700mAh Lithium-Ion battery pack, BP-227AX that provides stable output power and a practical 13 hours* of operating time. Lithium-ion batteries allow flexible charging** and have almost no memory effect.

Built-in rolling type voice scrambler*

Designed to enhance coverage of a two-way radio system, Icom SRP repeaters will instantly retransmit received audio without any noticeable delay. All repeaters in this series provide a stable 25 watt output power allowing a radio scheme to be boosted beyond the range of normal Private Mobile Radio (PMR) networks.

The SRP Repeater Series comes complete with housing (including 240V PSU) to mount the repeater. The SRP is incredibly flexible so that you can install the repeater in a vehicle, an office, or a temporary location.
